Schedule
- Full time: 5:30am-12:30pm or 8am-3pm
- Part time: Friday, Saturday and Sunday starting at 8am, end time is up to you.
- This is a permanent job position so you must be able to commit for at least 6 months.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers with enthusiasm, providing friendly and efficient service at the counter
- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems, processing cash, credit card, and mobile payments with precision.
- Prepare and assemble bagels, sandwiches, beverages, and other menu items according to company standards while maintaining food safety practices.
- Upsell additional items or specials to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace by regularly sanitizing surfaces, restocking supplies, and adhering to sanitation standards.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including toasters, coffee machines, and food prep tools.
- Manage retail sales transactions smoothly while ensuring accurate cash handling and register operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation or quick service restaurant environments is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing.
- Knowledge of food safety procedures, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a fast-paced environment.
