We are looking for an experienced Cook to join our team! You will be preparing and cooking a variety of dishes for restaurant guests to enjoy.

Compensation: $15-17 an hour depending on experience/qualifications.
Cook Responsibilities:
- Inspect and clean food preparation areas, such as equipment and work surfaces or serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices.
- Preparing ingredients for the shift; washing vegetables, chopping, seasoning meat, etc.
- Cook according to food health and safety standards.
- Handling multiple food orders at one time.
- Ensure great presentation and food quality before serving the food.
- Ensuring each guest order has the correct food and sides.
- Delivering food orders to wait staff in a timely manner.
- Any other duties deemed necessary to the position.
Cook Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a restaurant cook. (Minimum 2 years)
- Valid Food Handlers certification (or must be willing to obtain)
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
- Self-motivated and self-directed.
- Works well as part of a team and on individual tasks.
- Able to quickly memorize complex or multiple orders.
- Physically able to stand and move during the length of shift; able to bend and kneel through shift; able to lift up to 50 pounds or more.
- Effective communication skills
- Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling etc.)
- Ability to follow all sanitation procedures.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
