CDL A Regional Flatbed Truck Driver Responsibilities
As a
CDL A Regional Flatbed Truck Driver, you will:
- Safely operate a Class A tractor with a flatbed trailer
- Transport flatbed freight throughout regional Midwest routes
- Secure and unsecure loads using proper flatbed securement equipment
- Tarp and un-tarp freight as needed
- No-touch freight
- Communicate with dispatch regarding pickups, deliveries, and route updates
- Follow all DOT regulations, FMCSA requirements, and company safety policies
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 23 years of age
- At least 2 years of recent tractor-trailer driving experience
- Flatbed experience preferred – Ask about our flatbed training program
- Safe driving record with stable work history
- Ability to properly secure, tarp, and transport flatbed freight
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, safety-focused, and dependable
- English proficiency required
