Position Overview
A Golf Course Drink Runner is responsible for preparing beverage orders received through the Club's mobile ordering app, and delivering them promptly and professionally to our Club Members and guests across the golf course. This role provides exceptional customer service while ensuring accurate order fulfillment and compliance with all Food & Beverage policies.
Responsibilities
- Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage orders submitted through the Club's mobile app.
- Deliver beverages accurately and efficiently to golfers on the course.
- Maintain knowledge of the golf course layout to locate and serve golfers promptly.
- Provide friendly, professional, and attentive service to Club Members and guests.
- Ensure compliance with all alcohol service laws and Club Food & Beverage policies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Halfway House, bar service areas, and storage areas.
- Monitor inventory levels and restock supplies as needed.
- Assist with other Food & Beverage tasks as assigned.
Schedule
- The regular schedule for this position will be Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.
- Occasional Monday availability will also be required for golf outings.
- Holiday availability is required.
Qualifications
- Bartending experience is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with golf course etiquette, operations, and terminology is a plus.
- Must be able to safely operate a golf cart and navigate the course efficiently to deliver beverages to golfers.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Possesses a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Previous experience in a private club, high volume food and beverage operation or similar organization is a plus.
Work Environment
- This position requires standing, walking, bending, lifting, and performing repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift. Work is performed indoors and outdoors.
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
