Job Overview
We are seeking a baker with basic baking skills to work in our busy, fast paced breakfast and lunch restaurant.
Duties
- Baking muffins, scones, cookies and decorating cupcakes.
- Prepare and bake according to established recipes.
- Ensure all food handling and preparation meets safety and sanitation standards.
- Maintain an organized and clean workstation, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and assist in ordering as needed.
Skills
- Proficient in cooking techniques related to baking and pastry preparation.
- Must have basic knowledge of piping with a pastry bag.
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure consistency in product quality.
Must be able to speak and read English.
5 days a week, Tuesday through Saturday (and some occasional Sundays).
Hours: 8am-4pm
Pay based on experience.
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
