Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and highly organized Front Office Manager to lead our front desk operations and ensure exceptional guest experiences. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily front desk activities, manage guest relations, and coordinate with various departments to deliver seamless hospitality services. Your leadership will set the tone for a welcoming environment, fostering guest satisfaction and operational excellence. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality management, bilingual or multilingual, and thrives in a dynamic hotel setting. This hourly position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your hospitality expertise and guest service skills while leading a dedicated team. This is an hourly position with overtime anticipated. Candidates with OPERA Cloud and OPERA XPress PMS experience will be given priority. Qualified candidates MUST pass a background check and have a clean driving record as this role is integral to the valet drivers operations.
Duties
- Supervise all front desk operations, including check-in/check-out procedures and guest inquiries
- Supervise and schedule valet drivers for 24 hr valet services
- Ensure outstanding customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and professionally
- Manage multi-line phone systems and maintain phone etiquette standards
- Oversee night audit processes to reconcile daily financial transactions accurately
- Lead guest relations efforts to enhance satisfaction, handle complaints, and resolve issues efficiently
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure smooth daily operations
- Train and mentor front desk staff on hotel policies, guest services, and hospitality best practices
- Maintain accurate records of reservations, guest preferences, and billing information
- Implement procedures to improve efficiency and elevate the overall guest experience
Experience
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations REQUIRED
- Strong background in customer service within a resort or hotel environment
- Bilingual or multilingual skills to communicate effectively with diverse guests
- Familiarity with hotel management software and multi-line phone systems
- Knowledge of night audit procedures and financial reconciliation processes
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on phone etiquette and guest relations
- Previous leadership experience in a fast-paced hospitality setting is highly preferred
