Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Electric Sub Crow to join our dynamic construction and electrical installation team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for executing precise electrical work on construction sites, focusing on sub-level electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and interpreting complex blueprints and schematics. Duties
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot low voltage and high voltage electrical systems on construction sites, adhering strictly to NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association) codes and NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute wiring layouts and system configurations.
- Use hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment to diagnose issues and ensure proper system functionality.
- Follow electrical safety procedures rigorously to prevent accidents or injuries during installation or maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with project managers, electricians, and carpenters to coordinate work sequences, especially in framing carpentry contexts related to electrical infrastructure.
- Assist in the setup of low voltage systems such as alarms or communication wiring within commercial or industrial settings.
- Conduct inspections of installed systems for compliance with safety regulations and project specifications; document findings thoroughly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an industrial electrician or commercial electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems in construction environments.
- Demonstrated ability to read electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
- Knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code), NEC standards, and electrical safety procedures is essential.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other relevant testing devices.
- Experience working on construction sites with exposure to both low voltage and high voltage systems.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading for electrical layouts and framing carpentry integration is preferred.
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and adherence to industry regulations throughout all phases of work.
