Job Summary
Part time opportunity available in a market serving a small rural community.
Duties
- Greet customersand assist with their shopping needs in a friendly, professional manner
- Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cash handling duties with integrity and accuracy
- Prepare and serve hot deli foods.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store environment, including stocking and inventory management
- Provide professional and helpful customer service
- Support store operations as needed, including training new staff
- Engage in retail math calculations for pricing, discounts, and sales promotions to ensure accuracy
- Proven experience with POS systems and retail sales transactions, including lottery sales and ervice
- Ability to math calculations
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a positive attitude and active listening skills
- Retail sales experience in a grocery or convenience store setting is highly desirable
Pay: $15.55 - $20.00 per hour
