Overview
Join our dynamic construction team as an Ironworker, where you will play a vital role in building and installing structural steel, reinforcing frameworks, and ensuring the safety and stability of large-scale projects. Duties
- Erect, install, and assemble structural steel frameworks according to detailed construction plans and technical drawings.
- Operate heavy equipment and power tools safely to lift, position, and secure materials on-site.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans to ensure precise installation of building materials.
- Install windows, glass panels, flooring, trim carpentry elements, and other building materials with accuracy and care.
- Conduct construction inspections to verify compliance with safety standards and project specifications.
- Manage outdoor work environments efficiently while maintaining a focus on safety protocol adherence.
- Collaborate with construction management teams to coordinate tasks such as remodeling projects or hardscape installations.
Experience
- Proven construction site experience with a focus on building construction or remodeling projects.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation for various installation tasks.
- Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings and construction plans for accurate execution of work.
- Experience in plumbing, electrical work, or electrical installation is a plus but not required.
- Knowledge of Bluebeam software or similar digital markup tools for reviewing construction documents is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety standards.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols specific to ironworking and general construction environments.
