Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as either a Production Worker or Warehouse worker, where your energy and attention to detail will help ensure the delivery of high-quality food products. In this vital role, you will participate in various stages of food production, adhering to strict safety and sanitation standards. Most of the products you deal with will be between dry blends and fillings.
Responsibilities
- Operate food processing equipment and machinery in accordance with established procedures and safety guidelines
- Assist in packaging finished products efficiently while maintaining quality standards
- Follow all FDA regulations, HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) protocols to ensure food safety and compliance
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including equipment and production lines, adhering to strict sanitation standards
- Conduct basic math calculations for measurements, weights, and quantities during production processes
- Support inventory management by accurately recording production data and materials usage
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues and report maintenance needs promptly
Requirements
- Prior experience in food production or manufacturing is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Knowledge of FDA regulations, HACCP, CGMP, and food safety practices is highly desirable
- Ability to lift minimum of 50lbs if necessary
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks with precision
- Basic math skills for measurements, counting, and quality checks
- Mechanical aptitude for understanding equipment operation and troubleshooting minor issues
- Valid forklift certification is a plus; willingness to obtain certification if necessary
- Strong commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and compliant food processing environment in a food industry setting
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
