CPCneutek is looking for a high energy, positive attitude person to join our team as a Digital Press or Bindery Operator. You will work under the direction of the Production Manager in a full digital print production environment providing a high-quality finished product that matches order specifications.
Job Duties
- Operate Indigo digital presses
- Operate various bindery equipment including folders, cutters, Lamiantors, Drills, etc.
- Verify the information on the job ticket is correct
- Verify the stock, ink and text of printed documents are correct and match the job ticket.
- Set up presses in accurately and efficiently
- Meet production and quality standards, schedules, and deadlines
- Troubleshoot mechanical and printing issues
- Perform moderately complex product change-over activities
- Follow production scehule provided by production manager
- Complete maintenance logs and report press downtime as required
- Maintain cleanliness of all areas,
- Performing basic machine maintenance on all equipment
- Maintain inventory records on materials
- Frequently lift 10-20 lbs. and up to 75 lbs. occasionally
- May be required to run additional digital printers, and finishing assets as needed
Requirements
- 3+ years of Printing experience
- Technical knowledge of print & equipment
- Computer skills and experience handling print ready files
- Highly organized, with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage large workload, while producing quality work in a fast-pace environment with interruptions and deadlines
- Knowledgeable in basic math, fractions, and percentages
- Communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisor; visually, orally, and in writing
- Must be a motivated self-starter and eager to learn, grow, and seek future promotion
- Must be a team player
- Reliable; Regular and consistent attendance
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $26.00 per hour
