What You’ll Do
As a MIG/TIG Welder at Bentley Pontoons, you will play a key role in our manufacturing and fabrication process, with a focus on aluminum welding.
- Fabricate and assemble frames, transoms, pontoon logs, and other components
- Measure, align, and prepare metal materials prior to welding
- Perform high-quality welds that meet company standards and industry codes
- Inspect welds for accuracy, strength, and overall quality
- Read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications
- Collaborate with engineers and production teams to resolve issues
- Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment
What We’re Looking For
- Experience with aluminum MIG welding (TIG experience is a plus)
- Strong fabrication and metalworking skills
- Ability to read blueprints and follow welding codes
- Attention to detail and ability to work with tight tolerances
- Comfortable using hand tools, grinders, welders, and related equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Commitment to safety standards
Education: High school diploma or GED required
Experience:
- MIG Welding: 1 year preferred
- TIG Welding: 1 year preferred
- Fabrication: 1 year preferred
No prior experience? We’re willing to train motivated candidates who are a strong fit.
