Position Summary: Responsible for the management of all aspects of Heavy Civil Construction projects. Project scopes include foundations, structures, highway reconstruction, earthwork, and utility work. Must possess strong analytical, organizational, planning and communication skills with a commitment to high standards, integrity and ethics.
Essential Job Functions:
· Read and understand the plans and specifications for project bids
· Perform quantity takeoffs
· Perform solicitations to Vendors and Subcontractors
· Visit project site to observe progression
· Assist PM with communicating rollout of project with Construction Manager & Superintendent
· Generate subcontracts and purchase orders
· Prepare submittals to agencies as required for construction of project
· Communicate with Construction Manager and Superintendent on regular basis to ensure project issues / concerns are addressed
· Assist PM with communicating with Project Owner and/or Owner’s Representative on regular basis to ensure project issues / concerns are addressed
· Address Project Issues as necessary
· Prepare Project Invoices
· Enter and analyze real-time data in project tracking software
· Review and analyze project performance based on cost and production data
Requirements:
· MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
· HCSS Software experience preferred
· 2-5 Years’ experience preferred
· Read and understand construction plans
