Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Carhops to join our team at a fast-paced quick service restaurant. As a Carhop, you will be the face of our establishment, providing exceptional customer service while delivering food and beverages directly to our guests. This role requires a friendly demeanor, strong time management skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver food and drinks to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
- Take customer orders accurately using the Aloha POS system.
- Handle cash transactions and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Assist with food preparation and ensure all items meet quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of the service area, including dining spaces and equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Uphold food safety standards and regulations during all aspects of service.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or a quick service fast food restaurant is preferred.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in using POS systems, specifically Aloha POS is a plus.
- Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude.
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Previous experience in grocery stores or similar environments is beneficial but not required.
