Leading Boutique Law firm is looking for the successful and positive individual: 1-2 years immigration experience or strong internship is a plus.but must possess a bachelors degree Participate in all aspects of the firm's Business and Family Immigration practice, including assisting in the management of client relationships, case review and analysis, preparing and filing employment-based nonimmigrant and immigrant petitions, and serve as a primary contact to numerous clients. Ideal candidate will be able to successfully multi-task, Professional knowledge of Microsoft Office; outlook Strong writing, editing, and communication skills; Extreme attention to detail, and perfect organization and communication skills; Demonstrable ability to handle multiple challenges at once and prioritize those tasks accordingly MUST APPLY BY EMAILING RESUME AND/OR COVER LETTER
Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys with preparing and reviewing immigration petitions, applications, and supporting documents
- Conduct comprehensive legal research across immigration statutes, procedural law, and relevant regulations
- Manage case files using document management systems such as iManage and PCLaw, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Coordinate interviews with clients, gather necessary documentation, and facilitate communication between clients and legal teams
- Draft legal correspondence, affidavits, and case summaries with precision and clarity
- Support administrative tasks including filing documents with courts or government agencies and maintaining organized case records
- Utilize legal research tools like LexisNexis and Westlaw to stay updated on immigration laws and related legal developments
Experience
- Proven paralegal experience in immigration law or related fields such as family law, tribal law & regulations, or civil litigation support
- Strong knowledge of procedural law, document review processes, and case management practices
- Familiarity with legal support software including iManage, Westlaw, LexisNexis, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle confidential information discreetly
- Effective communication skills for client interviews, team collaboration, and professional correspondence
- Experience supporting multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough legal research and produce high-quality written work
