PayMore — Shipping Associate (Part-Time)
We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented individual with a love for electronics to join our team. The ideal candidate is organized, careful with their hands, and takes pride in getting orders out the door quickly and accurately.
We are a fast-paced, high-volume electronics franchise store that buys, sells, and trades a wide variety of consumer electronics (phones, tablets, laptops, game systems, cameras, etc.). This position is located in Massapequa, NY.
This is a part-time role: approximately 3 hours per day, 5 days per week. The candidate will not interface with the public and will have their own dedicated work area.
Responsibilities:
- Pick, pack, and ship electronic devices sold through our online storefronts (eAuction sites and our Shopify web store).
- Securely package fragile and high-value electronics using appropriate materials to prevent damage in transit.
- Generate and print shipping labels, weigh packages, and select correct carriers and service levels (USPS, UPS, FedEx).
- Match outgoing items to their orders accurately, confirming device, condition, and accessories against the listing before sealing.
- Maintain organized shipping and supply areas; track inventory of boxes, mailers, and packing materials and flag when stock runs low.
- Update order and tracking information in our systems and mark orders as fulfilled.
- Handle returns and incoming packages as needed, inspecting and routing items to the correct area.
Experience:
- Familiar with consumer electronics such as video game systems, smartphones, tablets, and laptops — comfortable handling delicate and valuable items with care.
- Prior shipping, fulfillment, warehouse, or e-commerce packing experience preferred.
- Comfortable with basic computer work: data entry, printing labels, and navigating order/shipping software (or able to learn quickly).
Requirements:
- Computer savvy and comfortable with shipping platforms.
- Reliable and punctual — this role depends on orders going out on schedule.
- Hard worker with strong attention to detail.
- Get-it-done attitude; able to work well independently and with others.
- Able to stay organized and keep pace in a fast environment.
- Able to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs.

Pay: $200.00 - $250.00 per week
