American Traveler is seeking a travel Physical Therapist with at least 2 years of experience for a 13-week assignment in an inpatient acute rehabilitation setting in Rochester, NH.

Located in an inpatient acute rehabilitation unit within the main hospital building, 3W floor
-
19-bed unit staffed by a multidisciplinary team including PTs, OTs, PTAs, SLPs, RNs, LPNs, CNCs, and PCTs
-
Therapy-to-patient ratio of 5:1; nurse-to-patient ratio of 6:1
-
PT, OT, and SLP service lines are all performed on the unit
-
Documentation is completed using Expanse EMR
-
Shift hours are 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with potential for occasional weekend shifts
-
May float to med/surg if census is lower on the inpatient rehab unit
-
Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in physical therapy required
-
Must have active inpatient care experience; mentorship available for candidates open to additional training
-
Current BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of start)

Active NH PT license required if applicable

Experience with neuro patient populations preferred but not required

Must have 6 months of experience within the last 6 months in the role being applied for

No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

SSN and DOB required for consideration

One professional reference required for consideration

Responsibilities include evaluation and treatment of inpatient rehab patients with a strong emphasis on patient rounding, communication, and customer service

State-of-the-art equipment available on the unit

Experienced, tenured staff with low turnover and high team and patient engagement survey scores

Unit has a strong record of outstanding patient outcomes
-
Non-color-specific scrubs required

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates will not be considered
