Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas, ensuring adherence to recipes and presentation standards
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, slicers, and food preparation tools safely and efficiently
- Assist in menu planning by suggesting new pizza flavors and toppings based on customer preferences and seasonal ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all food preparation areas following food safety sanitizing procedures
- Handle food with care, practicing proper food handling techniques to ensure safety and quality
- Support food production during peak hours by managing multiple orders simultaneously with speed and accuracy
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and uphold high standards of food safety management
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation with at Least 2 years of experience.
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in cooking techniques such as grilling, braising, poaching, and food production processes
- Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment safely in a high-volume environment
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitizing procedures, and proper food handling practices
- Experience with menu planning, recipe adherence, and meal preparation within the food industry
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Prior experience in fine dining or restaurant environments is a plus but not mandatory
