Duties & Responsibilities: (Essential Functions of Position, Major Responsibilities, Summary of Key Duties, Special Assignments, Relationships)

Rate of pay $29.11per hr.

Performs various carpentry work throughout the District.

The main responsibilities of this position are roof and window repair.
-
Operates power tools used in the Carpentry trade.

Makes repairs to flooring such as VCT, LVT, carpet, wood and sheet goods.

Must obtain Asbestos certification within 6 months of employment.

Must have knowledge of commercial roofing methods and repair, drywall/plaster patching and window repair.

Operates equipment used in material handling such as hand trucks, carts, dollies etc.

Occasionally assists in snow removal using a plow truck or dump truck.

Must be self motivated and able to work with minimal supervision as well as with others as a team member.

Must possess a valid drivers license and have an excellent driving record.

All other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.
Physical Requirements of Position: (HBV ? Yes ? No)

Ability to climb ladders and stairs.
- Ability to lift 75 lbs.

Must obtain Asbestos identification/removal certification.

Must have commercial roof and window repair experience.
