American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel contract at a Level I trauma center in Kansas City, MO, with robotics and multi-specialty surgical experience required.

Inpatient hospital OR setting with 18 operating rooms in Kansas City, MO
-
Surgical specialties include cardiac, trauma, orthopedics, neurosurgery, urology, GYN, and robotics (DaVinci and Mako systems)

Day shift schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Floating policy is not applicable to the OR

EMR: Meditech
-
Active RN license — MO license or compact RN license required

Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start)

Minimum 2 years of recent OR nursing experience required

Proficiency in OR skills across multiple surgical specialties

US SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Two professional references required

Level I trauma center environment with high-acuity and diverse surgical caseload

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible

No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
