JOB
Under general direction, performs professional engineering work and system studies related to the District’s power system short-term planning activities with particular emphasis on supporting System Operations, transmission switching operations and system impact analyses in support of long-term transmission requests to interconnect or wheel power on the District’s transmission system pursuant to the District’s open access tariff. Performs other duties as assigned.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES Bachelor’s degree with a major in Electrical, Electronic, Computer or other related engineering field or Associate’s degree with a major in Engineering and four years of transmission planning and design experience and Engineering-In-Training Certificate is required. SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION A negative drug test is required as a condition of employment.
