Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist or Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients to help them achieve their maximum potential in daily living and working activities. This role requires a strong understanding of various therapeutic techniques and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, patients, and their families. This is an in clinic position in an ABA center.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and social needs to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement therapeutic interventions aimed at improving patients' functional abilities and enhancing their quality of life.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including BCBAs, RBTs, and speech therapists, to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment options, home exercises, and adaptive equipment.
- Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing evaluations.
- Engage in case management and discharge planning to ensure a smooth transition for patients from one care setting to another.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and best practices in occupational therapy.
Qualifications
- A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program, or OTA license.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist or OTA.
- Experience in pediatrics, school settings, occupational health, or skilled nursing facilities is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of case management principles and discharge planning processes.
- Familiarity with speech therapy techniques is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.

Pay: $40.00 - $80.00 per hour
