Responsible for general repair of the physical plant and equipment.
Duties Include but are not limited to:
- Service and repair mechanical equipment
- Perform general plant electrical or mechanical maintenance including plumbing of water, air, drainage, chemical transfer, and steam lines
- Basic wiring installation
- Welding
- Machining including lathe, mill, saw, Bridgeport
- Fabrication
- Masonry, concrete and/or asphalt repair work
- Install, maintain, and repair equipment required to support plating lines
- Driving of forklift
- Preventative maintenance of plant equipment such as plating tanks, lines, boiler, cooling tower, blowers, etc.
- Completes all related forms and logs in preventative software system
Can exert 50 to 100 lbs of force occasionally and 10 to 25 lbs of force frequently.
Includes much walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, twisting and climbing ladders.
