Part-Time Home Staging Assistant
Location: Long Beach, CA
Schedule: Part-time, approximately 15–20 hours per week, Monday–Friday. Weekends off.
Pay: $17.00 per hour
Staged Designs is a family-owned home staging business based in Long Beach. We prepare homes for sale by bringing in furniture, décor, and accessories that help each space feel polished, welcoming, and market-ready.
We are looking for a motivated, dependable Home Staging Assistant to support our team on staging installation days and behind the scenes at our warehouse. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants hands-on experience in interior design, home staging, real estate, or small-business operations.
What you will do:
- Assist with furniture, décor, and accessory installations at residential properties
- Help load and unload staging inventory, including lifting and moving items up to 50 pounds
- Organize, log, and maintain inventory in our warehouse
- Help keep the warehouse, truck, and staging items clean and organized
- Run occasional local errands for supplies, décor, or project needs
- Assist with filming content for social media and behind-the-scenes marketing
- Support general business and administrative tasks as the role grows
- Learn the day-to-day operations of a growing home staging company
Ideal candidate:
- Has a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and enjoys working as part of a team
- Has an interest or background in interior design, business, real estate, hospitality, or a related field
- Is comfortable with a hands-on, physical role and can lift up to 50 pounds
- Is organized, detail-oriented, and willing to take initiative
- Has reliable transportation and is comfortable driving up to 30 miles from Long Beach on installation days
- Lives in or near Long Beach; local candidates are strongly preferred
- Is available Monday through Friday
- Has strong computer skills and is comfortable learning new systems
- Is excited to grow with a small business and take on more responsibility over time
