Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Forklift Operator/Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing warehouse operations, including the safe operation of various types of material handling equipment such as Cherry picker forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks. Your expertise in inventory management, order picking, and adherence to safety standards will ensure smooth warehouse distribution processes. Duties
- Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment, including Cherry picker forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks, to safely load, unload, transport and store materials.
- Picked, packed, and prepared customer orders for shipment while ensuring accuracy and timely fulfillment
- Conduct daily pre- and post- operation inspections of forklifts, reporting mechanical issues and safety concerns to maintain equipment reliability
- Preformed inventory control tasks, including cycle counts, inventory audits, and accurate documentation of material movements
- Maintained clean, organized, and safe work areas in compliance with company policies and OSHA safety standards
- Followed established operating procedures and site safety regulations to promote a safe and efficient warehouse environment
- Utilized ERP software to process order picks, inventory transfers, cycle counts, and inventory consolidations while maintaining accurate inventory records
Experience/Qualifications
- Proven experience operating various types of heavy equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and lift trucks.
- Prior warehouse experience with a focus on inventory management, order picking, shipping & receiving processes.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards related to materials handling and heavy equipment operation.
- Mechanical knowledge for basic equipment repair or troubleshooting is a plus.
- Experience in warehouse supervision or leadership roles such as warehouse supervisor experience is advantageous but not required.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting while maintaining safety standards in production environments.
- Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and order calculations.
- Fluent in English, bilingual (Spanish) a plus
- High School diploma or GED

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
