The Position
We’re seeking a professional, high-performing Dump Truck Driver to join our fleet. This isn't just a driving job; you are a vital part of our field operations, ensuring our "Masters of Sitework" have the materials they need to build the foundation of WNY.

Primary Responsibilities
- Hauling & Logistics: Transporting stone, dirt, asphalt, and heavy equipment to and from active civil construction sites.
- Equipment Transport: Responsible for the safe loading, securing (chaining/binding), and unloading of heavy civil construction equipment (excavators, dozers, loaders) on trailers for transport to and from various Western New York jobsites. Ensure all loads are secured in strict accordance with DOT safety regulations.
- Daily Documentation: Must be highly organized in managing Daily Vehicle Inspection Logs (DVIRs) and accurately tracking Company/Vendor Material Tickets.
- Site Coordination: Working closely with Excavator Operators and Foremen to position loads safely in tight residential and commercial corridors.
- Maintenance: Routine cleaning and basic maintenance of your assigned vehicle to uphold VisoneCo’s standards of excellence.
- Civil Support: When not behind the wheel, assisting the field crew with general site needs, equipment move-ins, and winter snow operations.
Qualifications
Required:
- CDL Class A License with Trailer and Air Brakes endorsements.
- Valid Medical Card and a clean driving record.
- Organized & Reliable: Ability to manage paperwork (tickets/logs) accurately and show up on time, every time.
- Team-Oriented: Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Proven experience in loading and unloading heavy machinery on lowboys or tag-along trailers, including proper securement techniques per DOT regulations.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to perform physical labor and lift 80+ lbs when assisting on-site.
- Willingness to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
Preferred:
- 2+ years of experience driving dump trucks in a construction/civil environment.
- Knowledge of underground utility installation and site materials.
- Experience hauling heavy equipment (Lowboy/Tag-along trailers).
- OSHA 10 certification.
