Day Shift (6:00 AM – 2:00 PM) and Evening Shift (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM)
Every Other Weekend Required
Madonna Heritage Assisted Living is seeking compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Medication Technicians and Resident Aides to join our caring team. Responsibilities
Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
Provide compassionate care for residents with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, and other memory impairments.
Administer medications safely and accurately (Medication Technicians only).
Observe residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to the nurse or supervisor.
Assist with meal preparation, serving meals, and feeding residents when necessary.
Safely transfer residents using Hoyer lifts and other assistive equipment as needed.
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment in resident rooms and common areas.
Encourage resident participation in activities and social engagement.
Complete required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
Follow all facility policies and procedures while promoting resident dignity, independence, and quality of life.
Qualifications
Previous experience in assisted living, nursing homes, home health, or community care is preferred but we welcome applicants that are eager to learn.
Medication Technician applicants must possess a current Maryland Medication Technician certification.
Compassionate, patient, dependable, and committed to providing excellent resident care.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to perform physical caregiving duties, including lifting, transferring, standing, and walking throughout the shift.
Must be available to work every other weekend.
