Responsibilities
- Must come prepared with your own tools
- Repair and restore vehicle bodies using auto body repair techniques, including dent removal, panel replacement, and alignment.
- Perform welding tasks such as MIG welding, soldering, and sheet metal fabrication to ensure structural integrity.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and airless paint spraying equipment for sanding, painting, and finishing surfaces.
- Conduct auto glass replacement and auto painting to achieve a flawless appearance.
- Assist with auto estimating and customer service by communicating repair progress and expectations clearly.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs performed, parts used, and work completed for quality assurance.
- Handle heavy lifting safely when moving or positioning vehicle parts or damaged components.
Qualifications
- Licensed or certified preferred
- Proven dealership experience or extensive background in auto body repair is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in MIG welding, soldering, sheet metal work, and fabrication techniques.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and vehicle maintenance procedures.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, auto glass installation tools, and auto painting equipment including airless paint sprayers.
- Knowledge of auto restoration projects and automotive repair processes is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently in a physically demanding environment.
