Overview Abundant Life Christian Academy is seeking a reliable and structured Lead Teacher for our Kinder Prep classroom (ages 4–5).
This role focuses on kindergarten readiness, including early academics, classroom structure, and student independence. We are looking for a teacher who can confidently lead a classroom and maintain a positive, organized learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily lessons including:
- Letters, phonics, and early reading
- Numbers and basic math skills
- Writing and name recognition
- Maintain a structured classroom with clear routines
- Manage behavior with consistency and patience
- Prepare students for kindergarten expectations
- Send weekly parent communication
- Provide daily updates and photos through our parent app
Requirements
- Experience working with preschool or pre-K age groups
- Strong classroom management skills
- Reliable and consistent attendance
- Ability to follow structure and routine
- Positive, professional communication with parents and staff
Schedule
- Full-time position
- Shift: [Insert shift – example: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM]
