About the Role
GREE Comfort Solutions is seeking a Senior After Sales Technical Advisor to serve as the technical expert supporting our customers, distributors, and HVAC contractors. This role is responsible for troubleshooting product issues, providing expert technical guidance, coordinating warranty and replacement parts, and ensuring timely resolution of post-sale service concerns. The ideal candidate is an experienced HVAC professional who enjoys solving complex technical challenges while delivering exceptional customer support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to homeowners, distributors, and HVAC contractors via phone and email.
- Diagnose product issues and determine the appropriate course of action.
- Identify when issues can be resolved remotely versus requiring a contractor site visit.
- Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for GREE HVAC products.
- Support contractors with installation, startup, troubleshooting, and repair inquiries.
- Coordinate warranty claims and replacement parts.
- Manage technical support cases from initial contact through resolution.
- Prioritize issues based on severity, customer impact, and urgency.
- Visit customer or contractor job sites as needed to resolve complex technical issues.
- Document service activities and identify recurring product trends to improve customer experience.
- Partner with internal teams to continuously improve after-sales support processes.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of hands-on HVAC installation and service experience.
- Strong understanding of residential and commercial HVAC systems, VRF, Ductless, etc.
- Previous field technician experience required.
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Strong customer service and communication abilities.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and case management systems.
- Ability to travel locally as needed for field support.
Preferred Qualifications
- EPA Certification.
- Experience working for an HVAC manufacturer, distributor, or contractor.
Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
