Duties
- Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations, procedures, and treatments with professionalism and efficiency
- Take vital signs, record medical histories, and prepare patients for their appointments to ensure accurate and thorough documentation
- Collect laboratory specimens, prepare samples for testing, and manage specimen labeling with precision
- Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of medical instruments and examination rooms to uphold safety standards
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, including scheduling follow-up appointments and updating medical records
- Provide compassionate support to patients by answering questions, offering instructions, and addressing concerns with positive energy
- Support administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence to keep clinic operations seamless
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional healthcare certification or training is a plus
- Must obtain a vaild Medical Assistant certification or degree
- Previous experience in a medical or clinical setting is preferred but not required—training will be provided!
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect empathetically with patients of all ages
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA regulations, and infection control practices is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team with enthusiasm and professionalism
