Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and surface cleaning to uphold high standards of cleanliness.
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure safe and hygienic environments for clients or guests.
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing or linens with care.
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents effectively while adhering to safety guidelines.
- Manage floor care tasks including carpet cleaning and floor polishing to maintain a polished look.
- Assist with outdoor work when necessary, such as sweeping patios or maintaining outdoor areas.
- Communicate professionally with clients or team members to address specific needs or preferences related to housekeeping services.
Experience
- Prior experience in residential cleaning, hotel housekeeping, janitorial work, or custodial roles is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with cleaning surfaces, equipment operation, and proper handling of cleaning agents.
- Knowledge of heavy lifting techniques and manual handling safety practices.
- Experience in commercial or outdoor cleaning environments is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple spaces.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients or team members.
