Job Description:
We are looking for a licensed attorney to join the firm in an Of Counsel capacity to represent the company in pre-litigation disputes such as debt collection and breach of contract matters. Duties can be expanded from here to include additional matters in healthcare and real-estate.. This is a part-time position, that can supplement an attorney's existing practice or full-time job, and add an additional revenue stream.
Additional Duties:
- Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues
- Review/Draft legal documents, including briefs, pleadings, appeals, contracts, and agreements
- Provide legal advice on a wide range of matters
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to the organization
Compensation:
Compensation will be per hour worked with a minimum amount to be paid each month regardless of hours worked.
Expectation: $80 to $120 per hour depending on the level of experience
$500 monthly minimum paid regardless of hours
Requirements:
· Member of FL state bar in good standing
· One year of litigation and court proceeding experience
· Ability to settle cases prior to hearings
· Excellent communication skills
Understanding of debt collection and contract law
