Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our food service team. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by providing exceptional dining experiences. Your duties will include dish room operations, food preparation and tray setup, meal delivery, beverage and soup service, maintaining cleanliness, restocking and waste management, and assisting with other tasks as assigned by management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate the dish machine, clean the dish room, and wash pots, pans, and sort silverware.
- Prepare sandwiches and set up the tray line with condiments.
- Deliver food carts to units and organize resident tickets.
- Pour coffee, soups, and clean the coffee pot.
- Sweep, mop, and ensure cleanliness in dining areas, storerooms, and other kitchen areas.
- Restock supplies, manage leftovers, and dispose of trash.
- Assist with other tasks as assigned by management.
Dietary Aide Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Experience in food service is a plus.
- Positive attitude and strong ability to collaborate with others.
- Dependable transportation is required.
