Milestones Early Learning, at our Portage location, is seeking a qualified candidate to work as an Assistant Teacher in our Pre-K classroom. While working in our wonderful facility serving children ages 3.5 to 5 years old.
Ideal candidates will be caring, dependable, flexible, enthusiastic, motivated, and work well in a team-oriented environment. This permanent position. Those seeking Seasonal and Summer employment are not encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities Include:
Providing lead teacher with support in daily instruction, caring for and engaging children in authentic learning experiences through play, assisting with curriculum-focused small group experiences, establishing & maintaining positive family, child, and staff relationships, and ensuring safety and highest quality childcare.
Requirements:
At least 18 years of age
High school diploma or equivalent.
Clear criminal background check
Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willing to obtain)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.50 - $17.00 per hour
