The Laboratory Service Coordinator is responsible for overseeing daily service operations, customer support, inventory management, and administrative processes to ensure efficient handling of calibration, repair, and product-related activities.
Service & Laboratory Coordination:
- Manage incoming service and calibration requests from customers.
- Coordinate instrument intake, service tracking, status updates, and completion documentation.
- Maintain service reports, calibration records, certificates, and customer documentation.
- Manage service laboratory operations, including tracking supplies, maintaining organization, and ensuring adequate inventory stock.
- Assist customers with instrument troubleshooting and provide technical support when needed.
- Develop and maintain procedures to improve service workflow and operational efficiency.
Sales Support & Customer Relations:
- Create and submit formal quotes, purchase orders, and invoices.
- Follow up with customers regarding quotes, invoices, and outstanding requests.
- Manage customer communications through phone and email while providing professional technical support.
- Assist clients in selecting appropriate products and services based on their application requirements.
- Maintain strong customer relationships through timely communication and issue resolution.
Administrative Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain CRM platform records, including contacts, opportunities, leads, and customer activity.
- Track leads, quotes, and customer follow-up activities.
- Maintain accurate records across quoting, service, and customer management systems.
- Assist with process improvements and automation to increase efficiency.
Inventory & Shipping Management:
- Manage product inventory levels, including stock tracking, audits, and replenishment needs.
- Maintain inventory records for instruments, accessories, consumables, and service parts.
- Coordinate receiving, packaging, and shipment of customer instruments and products.
- Prepare domestic and international shipments, including required documentation.
- Ensure accurate tracking of incoming and outgoing equipment.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Support daily business operations.
- Collaborate with management, technicians, vendors, and customers to ensure service commitments are met.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy, professionalism, and customer satisfaction while managing multiple responsibilities.
Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
