Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Experienced Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This energetic role offers the opportunity to showcase your culinary talents in a fast-paced, high-quality environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items with efficiency, consistency, and attention to detail in accordance with established recipes and standards
- Assist in menu planning by providing input on dish presentation, ingredient selection, and seasonal offerings
- Ensure all food handling and safety protocols are strictly followed to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
- Support food preparation activities, including chopping, marinating, plating, and portioning ingredients for service
- Maintain high standards of food quality during all stages of meal preparation and presentation
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service periods
- Contribute to catering events and special functions by preparing large quantities of dishes while maintaining quality and presentation standards
Requirements
- Proven experience as a line cook or similar culinary role in a fast-paced restaurant or fine dining setting
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and food industry best practices
- Background in dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus but not required
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Demonstrated passion for culinary arts, food presentation, and customer satisfaction
