Electrical Installer
Location: Orlando, FL
Job Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Overtime: Three (3) Fridays per month are mandatory based on production needs.
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Electrical Installer to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for installing, wiring, assembling, and troubleshooting electrical systems and components on specialized equipment and vehicles. The ideal candidate will have experience with automotive or industrial electrical systems, be detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities
- Install, wire, assemble, and troubleshoot electrical systems and components.
- Assemble wiring harnesses, cables, switch panels, circuit boards, and related electrical assemblies.
- Diagnose and repair electrical issues involving both 12V DC and 110V AC systems.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
- Perform electrical testing using voltmeters, test lights, and other diagnostic equipment.
- Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and production standards.
- Identify and report recurring quality concerns.
- Use hand tools, pneumatic tools, and power tools safely and effectively.
- Assist with training and mentoring new electrical installers as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area following 5S principles.
- Follow OSHA safety practices and all company policies and procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in automotive electrical installation, wiring, or troubleshooting preferred.
- Strong understanding of 12V DC and 110V AC electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Knowledge of automotive electrical components and electronics.
- Experience using electrical testing equipment.
- Ability to safely operate hand tools, drills, screw guns, and pneumatic tools.
- Basic math and measurement skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 40 lbs regularly without assistance.
- Stand for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Frequently bend, kneel, squat, reach overhead, and climb ladders when necessary.
- Work in hot, noisy, and dusty manufacturing environments.
- Perform repetitive hand motions while maintaining quality standards.
- Must be able to distinguish colors for wiring identification.
