ReVision Design + Build is a full-service residential remodeling firm. We provide design and construction of residential kitchens, baths, additions, and whole house renovations.
As a Project Designer, you will be working directly with home owners to provide the design and material selections for the remodeling of various parts of their home. These areas include kitchens, baths, basements, ADUs, outdoor living, and additions.
Required Duties and Competencies
Following the direction of the Project Developer, meet each new client on site to gather all relevant information needed to design the project, including but not limited to:
- Detailed site measurements recorded on a hand-drawn sketch of the space to remodeled
- Photography of the space to be remodeled
- Insight from the client about their specific needs, goals, and preferences
- Convert as-built sketches into as-built drawings in Chief Architect · Draw and render proposed new designs for initial client presentation and review with the Project Developer for feedback
- Meet with client and present proposed designs, gather feedback, and revise designs accordingly
- Upon client approval, finalize renderings into detailed construction drawings
- Meet with client to select all finish materials including cabinetry, countertops, lighting, tile, flooring, and paint colors
- Coordinate and schedule site evaluations with all trade subcontractors · Gather quotes and bids for all finish materials and trade scope of work
- Collaborate with Project Developer to finalize all necessary components to draft final plan sets and present to client for approval and signing
- Upon signing, order all special-order materials and release all bids, including cabinetry
- Provide guidance to Project Manager and site Craftsmen on interpretation and clarification of plans and specifications
- Manage client questions or changes as they occur as it relates to material specifications
Minimum Qualifications (current or expected to develop)
- Strong attention to details and self-checking work
- Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
- Ability to verbally communicate well clients and co-workers
- Proficient in written communication clarity and accuracy
- Ability to give clients confidence about their design decisions
- Ability to talk comfortably about money and budgets
- Proficiency in using ChiefArchitect, 2020, and cabinetry ordering programs

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
