American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring 3 years of experience, Epic proficiency, and a compact or PA RN license.

Work in an Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab setting
-
Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
-
Weekend rotation required every 3rd weekend
-
On-call required 1-2 shifts per week

Epic EMR experience required
-
Active RN license (Compact or PA) currently in hand

Current certifications: BLS and ACLS

Minimum 3 years of Cath Lab RN experience required

Epic charting system experience required
-
Proficient in professional cath lab skills including ACT, cardioversion, circulating procedures, dysrhythmia interpretation/management, 12-lead EKG/ECG, sheath removal/monitoring, topical hemostasis, and vascular closure systems

Experience administering and monitoring antiarrhythmics, antihypertensives, emergency medications, IV vasopressors, procedural sedation, reversal agents, and thrombolytics

Experience with cardiac cath lab procedures such as diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, PCI, left and right heart catheterization, and related advanced procedures preferred

Provide direct patient care in the cardiac cath lab, assisting with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Former Guthrie Healthcare System employees must be separated for at least one year before returning as a traveler
