Note:- Medical background preferred, with experience in blood sugar monitoring and care of insulin-dependent patients.

The Arc of Opportunity is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to become Shared Living Home Providers. This unique opportunity allows you to open your home and heart to an individual with intellectual and developmental disabilities while providing a supportive, family-oriented living environment.
As a Shared Living Home Provider, you will share your home and daily life with an individual who requires support. You will provide care, guidance, and assistance with daily living activities while promoting independence, community involvement, and overall well-being.

Provide a safe, welcoming, and supportive home environment.

Assist with activities of daily living, including personal care as needed.

Support scheduling, organization, and daily routines.

Provide transportation to appointments, community activities, and recreational events.

Accompany individuals to medical appointments and assist with medication management.

Encourage participation in community and social activities.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsible, caring, and committed to supporting individuals with disabilities.

Ability to dedicate time to providing in-home support.

Handicapped-accessible home or willingness to accept home modifications.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain certification.

Ability to successfully pass a CORI and background check.
