SPR Packaging, LLC founded in 2006 by a team of experienced flexible packaging managers and associates in order to fill a niche in the market for customer-oriented manufacturing and service. We are a growing company looking for talented personnel with the passion to learn the needed skills to become an asset for our company.
PURPOSE: Support production and other shipping/receiving personnel and perform general warehouse functions.
SHIFTS:
Sunday-Tuesday and every other Wednesday OR Thursday - Saturday and every other Wednesday
6PM - 6AM
JOB DUTIES:

Understand and follow safe work practices.

Wrap finished pallets and make sure that they contain proper license tags for location in the warehouse.

Bale and scrap by grade: clear and mix. Track the scrap tickets that go with each bale and turn them in on a daily basis to appropriate party

Unload all incoming trucks. Receive in all merchandise to proper location. Record each transaction in the receiving log. Issue a receiving ticket on each packing list or shipping list received. On a daily basis give information to appropriate party or CFO for proper receipt into Vision system.

Load trucks with finished goods or designated items and provide a bill of lading detailing what has been loaded.

Maintain trailer inspection log for incoming and outgoing loads.

Keep the loading area, both inside the plant and outside the plant, clean and free of debris.

Monitor trash compactor and notify appropriate party when compactor needs unloading.

Perform other related duties as directed by the appropriate party, including but not limited to: housekeeping and assisting other employees in the performance of their jobs.

Work in a team environment and conduct yourself in a professional manner when working with other employees and/or contractors.

Cycle count and physical inventories as necessary.

Ensure Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) are being followed on a daily basis.
- High school diploma or equivalent or 3 years of experience

Basic computer skills

Ability to do basic math.
ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Experience operating a reach and sit-down.

Experience working with high rack layouts.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Ability to stand for long periods on hard surfaces.

Ability to perform in an environment that is not climate-controlled.
