Overview
Join our interdisciplinary team of psychiatric providers and therapists to provide excellent care to wonderful clients! We are launching the grand opening of our second location in August, and we're thrilled to continue building our Gilbert team.
Duties
- Provide trauma-focused therapy using modalities like EMDR and brain-spotting
- Conduct therapy sessions at the individual, couples, and family level
- Implement crisis intervention strategies and crisis management techniques to support clients in urgent situations
- Engage in case management activities, including treatment planning, progress documentation, and coordination with psychiatric providers at the clinic
- Manage medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by maintaining accurate medical documentation and records. Note completion no more than 48 hours after the completion of any visit.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or a related field; licensure or certification as required by state law
- Strong knowledge of mental health counseling practices, crisis management, and conflict management skills
- Familiarity with medical terminology and medical documentation standards using an EHR/EMR
- Experience working with children and elderly clients
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism while demonstrating empathy and patience
