Quality Engineer

Job Details

**Scope of the position:

Provide Quality Assurance expertise to the Quality department and customers to ensure the Quality System is of the highest standard.
Safeguard the quality of all products produced through NCR/ CAPA and complaint investigations to ensure all customer & regulatory requirements are met.

**Key Responsibilities:

Maintain a quality system compliant to the IATF 16949: 2016 standard and all applicable regulations under associated Directives.
Co-ordinate/ perform investigations on production related issues in conjunction with QC Technicians to ensure all customer & regulatory requirements are met.
Lead all activities associated with open non-conformances (NCRs) & CAPAs until completion
Ensure customer specific requirements are being met
Establish and sustain customer relationships as Quality main point of contact for the company
Participation in Internal and External Audits
Provide training for quality and production team on product requirements
Support APQP activities for new launch product (PPAP, safe launch, ect)

**What we are looking for:

Minimum of 4 yrs. experience in product quality position, with direct experience in quality system compliance.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience of APQP, Core Tools, and creation of PPAP’s.
Knowledge of quality inspection tools and methods required.
Knowledge of blow molding, injection molding, and assembly processes desirable.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Exceptional analytical and computational skills. Knowledge of problem-solving tools and techniques preferable.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated high level of creativity and innovation.
Demonstrated decision-making capability.
