JAG Healthcare Mansfield is currently seeking a dependable, compassionate, and safety-focused Medical Transport Driver to join our team on a part-time basis. This position is responsible for safely transporting residents to and from medical appointments, therapy visits, and other scheduled outings while providing excellent customer service and support throughout the transportation process.

Responsibilities
(include but are not limited to):
- Safely transport residents to and from physician appointments, dialysis, therapy, hospital visits, and other scheduled destinations
- Assist residents with entering and exiting the facility and transport vehicle safely
- Secure wheelchairs and mobility devices according to safety standards
- Accompany residents during appointments as needed and communicate important information to facility staff
- Maintain transportation schedules and communicate any delays or changes
- Complete vehicle inspections and ensure the company vehicle remains clean, fueled, and in safe operating condition
- Assist nursing staff with resident care and other assigned duties when transportation is not scheduled
- Positively interact with residents, families, healthcare providers, and coworkers while providing exceptional customer service
Skills & Qualifications
- Valid Ohio driver’s license with a clean driving record required
- Previous experience transporting passengers, seniors, or individuals with medical needs preferred
- STNA certification preferred but not required
- CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Ability to safely assist residents with mobility needs
- Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills
- Dependable, compassionate, and professional demeanor
- Ability to work independently while remaining a strong team member
