Haven Family Chiropractic — Katy, TX
Full-Time | 32+ Hours/Week | $20–$22+/hour + Performance Bonuses | Primarily 4-Day Workweek
You're probably already the person everyone relies on.
You're the one who notices what everyone else misses.
You remember the details. You follow through. You make the uncomfortable phone call. You solve problems without waiting for someone to hand you a checklist. When things get busy, you don't freeze—you figure out what needs to happen next.
And there's a good chance you're working somewhere that doesn't fully know what to do with someone like you.
We're looking for the opposite.
Haven Family Chiropractic isn't looking for someone to simply sit at a front desk and answer phones.
We're looking for a high-energy, highly coachable, people-loving operator who wants to take ownership of the patient experience, help run an exceptional practice, and grow alongside it.
If you want a job where you clock in, complete a list, and wait for someone to tell you what to do next, this probably isn't it.
If you want to earn real trust, take ownership of meaningful responsibilities, and become someone the practice can genuinely rely on—

The Work Matters Here
Haven Family Chiropractic is a neurologically focused pediatric, prenatal, and family chiropractic practice in Katy, Texas.
Many of the families who find us are searching for support while navigating complex developmental, behavioral, sensory, and neurological challenges with their children.
Some parents walk through our doors exhausted.
Some are overwhelmed.
Some have been searching for answers for years.
And before they ever meet the doctor—
they meet you.
You are often their first conversation with Haven.
Your ability to listen, connect, clearly communicate what we do, answer questions confidently, and help someone take the next step matters.
And once they become part of our practice, you're one of the people responsible for making sure they feel known, cared for, and never lost in the shuffle.
This Is More Than Front Desk
This position sits at the center of the practice.
You won't simply be responsible for completing assigned tasks.
You'll be responsible for helping the office run.
That includes ownership over:
- New patient inquiries and conversion
- Phone, text, and in-person communication
- Scheduling and schedule optimization
- Day 1 and Day 2 new-patient coordination
- Payments, collections, and financial conversations
- Patient follow-up
- Retention, recalls, reactivation, and rebooking
- Marketing execution
- Community outreach
- Office organization
- Patient experience
- Daily clinic flow
- Identifying problems before they become bigger problems
- Helping ensure nothing important falls through the cracks
The goal is not for the doctor to constantly delegate individual tasks to you.
The goal is for you to own your part of the practice so completely that he no longer has to carry it mentally.
That means you know what's happening.
You know what needs attention.
You know what hasn't been completed.
And when something is within your lane, you handle it.
What We're Actually Looking ForYou have high agency.
When something clearly needs attention, you don't walk past it because nobody specifically assigned it to you.
You assess the situation, determine what you can handle, take action, and communicate when something requires someone else.
You are extremely coachable.
You don't get defensive when you're corrected.
You listen.
You ask questions.
You take notes.
You apply what you've learned.
And most importantly—
you retain it.
We do not expect perfection.
We do expect you to get better every time you're taught something.
The same mistake happening repeatedly because you forgot what you were shown is not acceptable here.
You're excellent with people.
You're warm, friendly, energetic, assertive, and comfortable starting conversations.
You can connect with a nervous parent, engage with a five-year-old, confidently discuss an overdue balance, answer a difficult question, and pick up the phone with the same level of presence.
You enjoy being around people.
A lot of them.
You're comfortable with money and sales.
You understand that helping someone make a decision is part of serving them well.
You can comfortably:
- Discuss fees
- Collect payments
- Follow up with new inquiries
- Re-engage someone who hasn't scheduled
- Have direct financial conversations
- Ask someone to take the next step
You don't get weird when money enters the conversation.
You're organized when things aren't.
This is a pediatric family practice.
Sometimes the office is peaceful and perfectly on schedule.
Other times there are kids running around, someone is crying, someone else is laughing, the phone is ringing, three families arrive at the same time, and the doctor is running behind.
If that sounds miserable, this isn't your office.
If your instinct is to take command of the room, create order, keep families cared for, and somehow make the whole thing feel easy—we want to meet you.
You Probably Won't Like This Job If...
- You need frequent reminders
- You regularly forget things you've already been taught
- You dislike receiving direct feedback
- You get defensive when corrected
- You wait for someone to tell you what to do next
- You avoid uncomfortable conversations
- You are uncomfortable talking about money
- You prefer slow, predictable workdays
- You regularly spend time on your personal phone while working
- You're frequently "running a few minutes late"
- You need heavy hand-holding
- You believe completing the basic expectations of your job deserves extraordinary recognition
- You're looking for something easy to get you through the week
We're not looking for perfection.
We're looking for someone who takes responsibility for becoming excellent.
What Success Looks Like
Six months from now, we should be able to say:
"The practice runs better because she's here."
Patients know you.
Parents trust you.
Leads don't disappear.
Follow-ups happen.
Payments are handled.
The schedule is actively managed.
Openings are noticed.
Missed appointments are followed up on.
Marketing initiatives actually get executed.
Problems get caught early.
You've learned how Haven communicates what we do and can confidently represent the practice to a prospective family.
You're increasingly able to solve problems independently.
And instead of creating another person for the doctor to manage—
you've taken things off his plate.
That's success in this role.
Compensation
$20–$22/hour, depending on experience and demonstrated capability.
This is a full-time position averaging approximately 32+ hours per week.
Primary in-office days are:
- Monday
- Tuesday
- Thursday
- Friday
There may occasionally be administrative work on Wednesdays that can be completed from home.
This is not a hybrid position. Your primary role is in the office, interacting directly with patients and helping run the practice.
Performance Bonuses
This is a performance-driven practice.
Monthly KPI bonuses are available when both:
- You are performing at a high level within your role, and
- The clinic itself is performing.
We don't believe in bonuses simply for showing up or completing the responsibilities you were hired to perform.
We do believe exceptional contribution should participate in exceptional results.
Benefits
Benefits may include:
- Paid time off
- Paid sick time
- Employee chiropractic care / wellness benefits
- Gym membership
- On-the-job training
- Professional development
- Opportunities for advancement
This Role Has a Real Future
This does not have to remain a front-desk position.
For the right person, this role can grow into:
Patient Experience Coordinator → Senior Coordinator → Practice Manager → Operations / Team Leadership
As the practice grows, the responsibility available to you can grow with it.
So can your compensation.
Advancement here isn't based on how long you've occupied a chair.
It's based on what you've demonstrated you can own.
If you're ambitious, capable, and want the opportunity to become substantially more valuable over time, there is room here to do that.
Experience
Healthcare or chiropractic experience is not required.
You may currently work in:
- Healthcare
- Dental
- Therapy
- Wellness
- Hospitality
- Boutique fitness
- Childcare
- Education
- High-end retail
- Customer experience
- Sales
- Another service-based business
We're much more interested in:
how you think, how you communicate, how quickly you learn, how well you retain information, how you handle responsibility, and how you take care of people.
About Haven Family Chiropractic
Our mission is to lead families toward greater health by helping restore balance and function to the nervous system.
Our work is heavily focused on pediatric, prenatal, and family wellness, and we serve many families navigating significant challenges with their children.
We want Haven to be a place where struggling families feel seen, supported, cared for, and hopeful.
We're building something bigger than an office that sees patients.
We want to create meaningful change for kids and families throughout Katy, Houston, and beyond.
Our core values are:
Integrity · Wisdom · Community · Growth · Potential · Empowerment
Those values aren't wall decorations.
We expect them to show up in how we communicate, how we work, how we take responsibility, and how we serve people.
If You're the Right Person...
You may already be one of the most reliable people at your current job.
You may already be doing more than your title suggests.
You may already be frustrated by coworkers who don't care as much as you do.
You may want more responsibility, more ownership, and a clearer path forward.
You may want your work to actually matter.
If you're looking for somewhere to disappear into the background, there are easier jobs.
But if you want your contribution to be noticed, your standards to be expected, your abilities to be developed, and your responsibility to grow as you do—
we should probably talk.
How to Apply
We are selective about who we bring into this role.
Submit your resume and answer the following question in 3–5 sentences:
Tell us about a time you received feedback or correction at work that required you to change how you were doing something. What was the feedback, what did you change, and what happened afterward?
Be specific.
We're not looking for the "perfect" answer.
We're looking at how you think about feedback, responsibility, and improvement.
Applications that do not answer the question will not be considered.
