Titus Talent is partnered with a leading Corinth logistics company and is seeking a hands-on, results-oriented Logistics & Operations Supervisor to lead daily transportation and yard operations in a fast-paced distribution environment. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing trailer spotting, shuttle operations, fleet utilization, employee performance, safety compliance, and customer service while driving operational efficiency and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
- Oversee daily trailer spotting and shuttle operations to ensure safe, efficient, and timely movement of equipment between locations.
- Coordinate pickup, drop-off, and storage schedules to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.
- Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities for process improvement.
Team Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop drivers and operational team members.
- Create and manage staffing schedules to ensure appropriate coverage across all shifts.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement development plans.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence.
Fleet & Equipment Management
- Monitor the condition, utilization, and availability of trailers and operational equipment.
- Coordinate preventative maintenance, repairs, and inspections to ensure equipment reliability and compliance.
- Maintain maintenance records and equipment histories.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, regulatory requirements, and safety standards.
- Conduct safety meetings, audits, and training programs.
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions to reduce risk and improve workplace safety.
Logistics Planning & Execution
- Coordinate logistics activities to ensure equipment is positioned where needed to support customer and operational demands.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, service levels, and overall operational performance.
- Respond effectively to operational disruptions, emergencies, and changing business needs.
Customer & Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Address service issues, concerns, and operational challenges in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service execution.
Financial & Operational Performance
- Monitor operating expenses, including labor, fuel, maintenance, and equipment costs.
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities while maintaining service quality and safety standards.
- Track key performance indicators and operational metrics.
Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain accurate records related to trailer movements, maintenance activities, inspections, and operational performance.
- Prepare reports and provide recommendations to leadership regarding performance trends, operational challenges, and improvement opportunities.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in transportation, logistics, fleet operations, distribution, warehouse, or yard management leadership roles.
- Proven ability to lead and develop teams in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing schedules, equipment, and operational performance metrics.
- Knowledge of transportation safety regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and transportation or logistics management systems preferred.
- Ability to work flexible schedules as business needs require.
