The Division of Management Services (DMS) is currently looking for a Facilities Management / Emergency Planning Specialist (Facilities Management Specialist 1) to join our dynamic team. The DOJ Division of Management Services provides operational support to the Department of Justice.
Under the general supervision of the Division Administrator for the Division of Management (DMS), this position plans, coordinates, and supervises buildings, leases, repairs, and improvements for all department locations. This position is responsible for providing leadership and coordination with procurement efforts, repairs, maintenance services, supplier management of facility improvements, and product tracking for owned and leased properties.
The position is responsible for acting as the department’s Continuity of Operations Program (COOP)/continuity of government (COG) manager, overseeing the development and implementation of plans, policies and procedures designed to ensure the continual operation of essential department functions.
