UrgentCare2Go and IVTherapy2Go are looking for a Full-time Paramedic with excellent IV skills!
UrgentCare2go & IVTherapy2go is a new and unique way of providing health care services and IV therapy to patients in the comfort of their own homes. We are looking for a reliable Paramedic to provide urgent care and IV therapy. You will work under the supervision of a physician, physician assistant, or nurse practitioner. It is a demanding job but also very rewarding.
Responsibilities:
- Record a patient’s medical history accurately.
- Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate, etc.
- Perform point of care testing like flu, strep, covid, UA, Urine Pregnancy.
- Observe patients under treatment during IV fusion to identify progress, side effects of medications, etc.
- Administer injections, prescribed medications, clean and dress wounds and assist with other basic medical care tasks.
- Collect samples for lab testing as assigned.
Skills:
- Proven experience as a Paramedic or similar role
- Actively performing IV sticks.
- Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team
- Familiarity with safety and sanitation standards and procedures
- Understanding of confidentiality obligations and medical best practices
- Excellent knowledge of medical terminology
- Good knowledge of MS Office and data entry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and able to handle stress
- Successful completion of the Paramedic License is a must.
Schedule:
- 12-hour shift
- Day shift
- On call
- Weekends as needed
