Experience is preferred, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate who has a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a desire to learn.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation of patios, walkways, retaining walls, stairs, fire pits, and other hardscape features
- Prepare job sites through excavation, grading, and base preparation
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Work efficiently as part of a team to complete projects on schedule
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Perform general landscaping duties as needed
Winter Responsibilities
During the winter season, this position transitions to our snow and ice management team. Responsibilities include:
- Snow plowing and snow removal
- Sidewalk clearing and shoveling
- Operating snow removal equipment, including skid steers and loaders (training provided as needed)
- Applying ice melt and other de-icing materials
- Working flexible hours during snow events, including nights, weekends, and holidays when necessary
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required
- Hardscape or construction experience preferred, but not required
- Reliable, dependable, and self-motivated
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Must be punctual and committed to quality workmanship
